Subharthi University organized its 4th annual convocation ceremony





Subharthi University organized its 4th annual convocation ceremony at Mangalya Auditorium on 23rd April 2016 in which total 1470 students were awarded various certificates for graduation, post graduation and Ph. D degrees by Honorable Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. N.K. Ahuja.


This program was successfully organized by the convener Dr. Nikhil Srivastava.  Dignitaries of the occasion, Founder Dr. Atul Krisna and Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, President of Subharti KKB Charitable Trust Dr. Shailya Raj, Chief Guest Dr. D.C.Joshi, Chancellor, Dr.G.C Srivastava, Vice Chancellor Dr.N.K.Ahuja and Registrar P.K.Garg awarded various gold medals and certificates to the students of different colleges. 


Akansha Tewatia of MBBS, Garima of BDS, Shipra of BPE and 33 more students were awarded Gold medals. Whereas thousand more students were awarded certificates in various disciplines. Akansha Bishwal of BDS and Mohd. Mustaqueem were awarded best girl and best boy Gold Medal.



Detail of the Events held from January 2015 – March 2015

1. 10th Jan 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized was staged a Street Play “Mein Insaan Hoon” at the University campus. The artists play the role of a comman man and how he is affected by the evil practice religion, caste, mutual enmity. The play, which depicts the story of a tea wala considers all religions and walks on the path of humanity. In the play Rajkamal Mahato, Aman Somani, yukta Sharma, Himanshu Chugh, Saloni Tyagi, Sana Faroqui and nursing college student godhooli Ghosh acted very beautifully. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manzoor Ahmed praised drama artists .On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr.V.K Bhatnagar, Mr. P. K Garg Registrar, Director of NAAC Accreditation Dr. Dilip Kumar Giri, including many professors, officials and dignitaries were present.

2. 14th Jan 2015 – 19th Jan 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication participated in the North Zone Youth Festival organized by AIU and University of Jammu. Six students participated under the supervision of the Dean (SIJMC).National Youth Festival at Jammu University “UDGOSH 2015” January 14 to January 19, 2015, in this fest student of 65 universities participated nationwide. Our student Participate in the festival debates, seminars, group discussions, community programs, quiz and presentation ideas, street theater and other activities.

3. 2nd Feb 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication has organized a debate competition on Topic “Presidential Form of Government is better than Parliamentary Form of Government” as in our academic session of BJMC 1st Year –the student should have knowledge of government activity and their rule, regulation. The student has actively participated argue at various point and discuss the positive and negative effects of government in Presidential and Parliamentary Form - Aman Somani -hold 1st Position and Himanshu Chug stand 2nd in this competition.

4. 17th March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an educationalvisit to Indian Media Fest, New Delhi. Our 4 students have participated in media fest session “Editor’s Choice”. The students have got the experience to two have a talk with the eminent personality of the Media & Journalism. Student s have enjoyed to listen Deepak Chorasia(India News),Vidhya Nath Jha(Zee News) , Vinod Agnotri(Amar Ujala) and others have share their experience with the students.

5. 18th March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized Alumni Talk, an Interactive session with college student Mr. Rajan Rana(Alumni) share their experience with the student.

6. 19th Feb 2015 – 21st Feb 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication participated in Youth Festival “Chorus 2015” in Sharda University and won prizes in different level of competition Aman Somani won 2nd prize in debate competition. On this achievement Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University said the main goal of the university is to explore the hidden talents of the youth by which they can achieve the success. Sharda University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh organized a three-day Youth Festival from 19th Feb 2015 – 21st Feb 2015 .The event was attended by students from 23 nations. Subharti University was awarded for medals in seven categories. In this series of awards our students Aman Somani won 2nd prize in the debate and Rutunjay Rastogi has also bagged the second place in photography. Both the winner students received the trophy and prize money from Sharda University Youth Festival Committee.

The University welcomes all students with open arms and all have congratulate them on this victorious performance of the students. On this occasion Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Dr. VK Bhatnagar, Pro-Vice Chancellor,Dr. NK Ahuja, Director of the Faculty of Management & Commerce, Congratulated all the students on their achievement.

The college has received the appreciation from the Founder of Subharti University Dr. Atul Krishan and Dr, Mukti Bharnagar (Founding President of SVSU ) . President of KKB Charitable Trust Dr. Shaliya gave best wishes and motivate to the quality work.

7. 25th March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication on 84th death anniversary of Amar Shaeed Shri Ganesh Shanker Vidhyarthi college has organized a programme in remembrance of great journalist Shri Ganesh Shanker Vidhyarthi . On this day the life of Ganesh Shanker and their contribution to the country as a devoted journalist was delivered to the students. Our Chief Guest was Group Editor of "Namaami India newspaper" Digvij Chaturvedi and AIR Artist Ms. Kiran Chaturvedi has talk about the writing style of Shri Ganesh Shanker Vidhyarthi and said that today’s media world is having lack of investigative journalism. We want to do research, but do not want to take risk. On this occasion Sayed Zafar Hussain , administrative officer , Subharti Trust has encourage the student with their presence.Our Student Aman Somani, sana Faroqui, yukta, Rajkamal Mahato, Himanshu Chug has given the speech on Shri Ganesh Shanker Vidhyarthi.

8. 27th March 2015 – 29th March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication participated in Youth Festival in IIT Roorkee “Socio Cultural Fest Rhapsody-15” from 27 to 29 March 2015.Our 4 students participated in photo contest was organized on various themes and all won 1st prize in Photography competition in different field. The students are Uday Kumar, Lalit Kumar , Ritunjay Rastogi and Rajkamal Mahato. . University welcome the students. On this occasion, President of the Subharti K K B Charitable Trust Dr. Shailya Raj said that journalism faculty of Journalism & Mass Comm. is constantly setting new records and give her best wishes .

9. 30th March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an educationalvisit to All India Radio, Nazibabad, UP. Mr. Chandan Saxena (Faculty) with 5 students. The student gets the practical experience of Radio working.

10. 31st March 2015: Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an educationalvisit to All India Radio, New Delhi. Ms. Gunjan Sharma (Faculty) & Mr. Chandan Saxena (Faculty) has participated with 26 students. This is an Educational Tour and to inform the students about the working in radio and the technical aspect of the radio production. There student have practice in news room and recorded several programme.

  • Independence Day Celebration On 13th August 2016 students of SIJMC celebrated the Independence day and presented a cultural programme.
  • Orientation Programme On 3rd August 2016 classes for ODD Semester 2016 was started. The new students are welcomed classes are commenced as per the time table.
